Role Overview
The People Services Advisor roles exists to ensure that a professional HR support service is delivered to agreed standards and that there is a constant focus on service innovation to deliver the optimum experience for all users of the service. Contributes to and operationalises all aspects of development and change relating to changes/enhancements in technology, process and people, supporting and delivering a culture of continuous improvement by reviewing demand, and understanding the customer needs and delivering process improvements and outstanding Customer Experience.
To be a key contributor to the future focus and quality of service delivered by the People Service teams as a whole to our customers.
What You’ll Do
- Supporting our internal customers through multiple communication streams, ensuring that service excellence is at the heart of everything we do.
- Ensures that all the activities they complete are wherever possible within the agreed timescales and Service Level Agreements are met
- First line query resolution through service now, email, telephony to agreed service level agreements
- Case Management of more complex queries ( maternity/paternity etc)
- Provides administrative support on scheduled and non-scheduled employee benefit initiatives.
- Securing Occupational Health appointments with employees following a referral which supports people with health conditions to stay in work or return to work.
- Operate the Bupa Travel service desk supporting complex bookings for the Board & CEC responding to general queries as well as more complex EA/PA support, validation of invoices and providing oversight and feedback on out of policy bookings, liaise with the Travel Management provider service desk where required to deliver a speedy resolution People Services Advisor.
- Making the fair treatment of customers central to all organisational changes, procedural changes and policy decisions that you make, approve or oversee.
- Always demonstrating fair customer treatment to other employees – leading by example.
- Rewarding the fair treatment of customers by other employees.
- Being able to explain the impact that your role and actions have on the fair treatment of customers.
- Being able to explain the potential implications for customers who are not treated fairly by you or others.
- Always seeking to be competent to do your job e.g. by completing all compulsory regulatory training on time to ensure that you have all the necessary knowledge and skills
- Deliver outstanding customer experience in response to customer evolving needs.
- Experience of working in a high volume and complex operational setting.
- Customer Service Experience and problem solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
