Responsibilities
Managing a varied caseload of ER matters including disciplinary, grievance, performance and sickness absence cases Providing clear, pragmatic advice aligned with policy, best practice and UK employment legislation Preparing and reviewing documentation such as meeting notes, invitation letters and performance improvement plans Supporting managers during formal meetings with calm, structured and confident guidance Maintaining well‑organised, accurate case records that track actions, progress and outcomes
Qualifications
Strong, hands‑on experience managing end‑to‑end ER casework Sound judgement with the ability to assess risk and influence balanced decisions Clear, confident communication, particularly when dealing with sensitive or complex issues High levels of organisation and accuracy when managing multiple cases The ability to build trusted relationships with employees and managers at all levels Experience supporting neuro‑divergent or ex‑military individuals is advantageous
