Job Description
An excellent opportunity for a Pensions Associate to join a well-regarded pensions team advising on a broad range of complex and high-profile matters. This role offers exposure to both contentious and non-contentious pensions work, including support on major corporate and cross-border transactions, within a collaborative and progressive environment.
The Role
- Support on a wide range of pensions matters for employers, trustees and institutional clients
- Advise on pension scheme changes, deficits, restructurings and de-risking exercises
- Assist on pensions aspects of corporate and cross-border M&A transactions
- Draft and review pensions documentation and carry out legal research
- Build client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across jurisdictions
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with approximately 2–5 years’ PQE (outside this range considered)
- Experience advising on pensions matters
- Exposure to corporate transactions and international client work
- Strong drafting and legal research skills
- Commercial, detail-focused and able to manage competing deadlines
