Pensions Consultant – Data Projects

We’re working with a leading consultancy whose data services team is growing rapidly in response to increasing client demand, particularly in the de-risking space.

They’re looking for consultants who enjoy hands-on technical work, solving complex problems, and delivering top-tier service across a wide range of client projects.

The Opportunity:

• Preparing scheme data for buy-ins, buy-outs, and full wind-ups
• Leading complex benefit rectification exercises (e.g. GMP rectification, Barber window reviews)
• Supporting large-scale data cleanse
• Advising on data risk and strategy at scheme level
• Collaborating with internal teams (actuarial, admin, risk transfer) and external clients to deliver tailored solutions

What They’re Looking For:

• Solid knowledge of UK DB pension schemes – you might be an actuary or someone who’s stopped the exams
• Consultancy experience and confidence working with clients
• A knack for building scalable, bulk calculation solutions
• Strong Excel skills; knowledge of tools like SQL or automation platforms is a bonus
• A team player who’s proactive, commercially aware, and comfortable juggling multiple deadlines
