Are you detail-focused, great with data, and eager to build a career in pensions and finance?
We are seeking a Trainee Pensions Analyst to join an in-house pensions team for a large highly reputable and well established organisation based in Crawley.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting complex pension administration projects, while developing skills that will shape your career in data, finance, and employee benefits.
You will be expected to work onsite for the first 6 months of the role; thereafter your working arrangement will move to a hybrid working model.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting the delivery of pensions projects and day-to-day operations
- Helping manage pension scheme data, benefit statements, and annual increases
- Assisting with data analysis and quality checks for employee pension records
- Responding to queries from employees and pension service providers
- Collaborating with colleagues and external suppliers on technical tasks
- Producing accurate correspondence and simple benefit calculations
- Working on accounting tasks and ad hoc projects with the project manager
About you:
- Strong Excel skills would be ideal for this role– including formulas and pivot tables
- A keen eye for detail and an interest in working with data
- Excellent communication and written skills
- A proactive mindset, with a willingness to learn and grow
- An interest in pensions
- Knowledge of pensions legislation or systems is a bonus (but not required)
