- Full or part-time optional Academics are looking for a PE Teacher, qualified or unqualified who is immediately available to work in an Alternative Provision in Havant which caters for secondary aged pupils with social and emotional needs and challenging behaviours.

They urgently need a suitable PE Teacher/Instructor/Sports Coach who is able to deliver their PE lessons.

ASAP start, ideally full-time.

The suitable person must be able to confidently deliver practical PE lessons.

No planning is required.

They are open to both full and part-time options although need a Wednesday covered.

They can be flexible on the other days if needed.

Working hours are 8/8.30am
- 2.30pm.

At this stage, they are not sure how long the cover is needed so currently an ongoing need.

They work closely with their local schools in Havant/Portsmouth to ensure that vulnerable students, whatever their needs, can continue their education in a learning environment that supports them, but still expects that they will achieve the best possible academic, social and vocational results.

Due to the challenging nature of the school in Havant, the ideal PE teacher/Instructor will have previous experience of working in a similar setting, or with pupils with challenging behaviours in a secondary school.

You must be proactive, have strong behaviour management skills, be able to build strong relationships with vulnerable students and have the ability to think on your feet. xbpsjku A If you are an experienced PE Teacher/PE Instructor and can commute to Havant for work, please apply!
