Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Team Leader to join their busy team
Duties include; Lead and manage the payroll team, providing guidance, training, and support. Allocate tasks and monitor performance to ensure deadlines are met. Oversee the preparation and processing of payroll for all employees. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies. Review and approve payroll calculations, deductions, and adjustments. Ensure payroll complies with HMRC regulations and employment laws. Prepare and submit statutory reports (e.g., PAYE, NI, pensions). Maintain accurate records for audits and internal reviews. Manage payroll systems and software, ensuring data integrity. Liaise with IT or vendors for system upgrades or troubleshooting. Act as the point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees and management. Collaborate with HR and Finance departments on payroll-related matters. Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes. Implement best practices and process improvements. Train new payroll staff and ensure ongoing development of the team. You will have; Proven experience in payroll processing, ideally in a supervisory or team lead role....
