This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional to work in a dynamic practice environment, supporting a broad client portfolio across various industries. You will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and HMRC reporting requirements. The role offers excellent variety and autonomy, working closely with clients and internal colleagues to deliver a seamless payroll service. Key Responsibilities Manage and process multiple payrolls (weekly, fortnightly, monthly) for a range of clients Ensure compliance with PAYE, NIC, pensions, statutory payments, and other HMRC requirements Handle new starters, leavers, holiday pay, sick pay, and other employee entitlements Administer auto-enrolment pension schemes and submit contributions Process year-end tasks including P60s, P11Ds and reporting to HMRC Liaise with clients to resolve payroll queries and provide expert support Maintain accurate records and ensure all deadlines are met Required Skills and Experience Previous experience in a payroll processing role (in-practice or bureau experience desirable) Strong working knowledge of current payroll legislation and auto-enrolment requirements Familiarity with payroll software (e.g. BrightPay, Sage Payroll, or similar) Excellent accuracy and attention to detail Strong communication and client service skills Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload effectively Company Culture This well-established Lisburn-based accountancy practice offers a friendly and supportive working environment.
