The Role
A dual-focused role overseeing payroll operations and HR systems within a managed payroll environment.
You’ll ensure accurate, compliant payroll delivery while driving system improvements, reporting, and data-led decision making across the People function.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end payroll processing and liaise with external payroll providers
* Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, HMRC requirements, and internal policies
* Oversee payroll system configuration, upgrades, testing, and integrations
* Administer pensions and auto-enrolment processes
* Conduct payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting
* Provide payroll guidance to staff and managers
* Manage HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and effective reporting
* Support system improvements and deliver insights through data analysis
The Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience managing payroll and HR systems
* Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, pensions, and statutory payments
* Experience with payroll systems configuration and upgrades
* Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
* High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
* Ability to manage confidential data and work collaboratively across teams
