This temporary contract offers the chance to work within a dynamic finance operations team, processing payroll across a large workforce. About the Job As Payroll Administrator, you will support the payroll operations within a central finance department. You will be involved in time-sensitive data management, coordination of employee pay records, and communication with both internal teams and external agencies. Accuracy, confidentiality, and efficiency are key. You will be responsible for and assisting with the following: Ensuring accurate collation and submission of payroll data for processing deadlines Supporting payroll onboarding and exit procedures for employees Managing and reviewing employee attendance and timekeeping data Responding to internal payroll queries and escalating as required Liaising with finance and HR teams to ensure payroll compliance Maintaining payroll records in line with company policies and data protection rules Assisting with reporting tasks and data audits related to payroll Promoting company values and contributing to a positive work environment Staying up to date with payroll best practices and regulatory guidelines Your Skills and Background Prior experience in a payroll or finance admin role is essential Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Good understanding of payroll processes and employee lifecycle Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Confident in using digital systems and Microsoft Office applications Professional qualifications in payroll (e.g. CIPP) are beneficial but not mandatory Job Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (3 months) Location: Greater Belfast (Hybrid Working Available) Benefits 34 days holiday including public holidays Additional leave for your birthday Cycle to Work Scheme Life Assurance Access to learning and development opportunities Confidential employee support services Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance If youre an experienced payroll professional looking for your next contract opportunity in a collaborative and forward-thinking organisation, apply now to find out more.
