Payments Compliance Officer (Contract)

Hybrid London-based (can be remote, with occasional London travel) We’re supporting a payments business with an urgent short-term requirement to clear a compliance backlog. This is a hands‑on contract role, starting immediately and running initially for 10 weeks (to end of March). Key focus areas:
Drafting and updating compliance policies and procedures Compliance monitoring and audit support Payments regulatory coverage including PSD2 / FSMA Working across safeguarding, complaints, Consumer Duty, operational resilience Authorisation and/or change of control processes
Requirements:
Proven payments / EMI compliance experience at manager level or above Comfortable delivering at pace with minimal supervision Immediately available London-based preferred (remote considered with some London visits)
