Schedule: Five days per week, Day time work
Core by Clare Smyth, a three Michelin-starred restaurant recognised for exceptional craftsmanship and world-class dining, is seeking a talented and dedicated Pastry Sous Chef to join our esteemed kitchen team.
As Pastry Sous Chef, you will play a key role in supporting the pastry section, working closely with our Head Pastry Chef to ensure the highest standards of production, consistency, and quality.
This position is ideal for an ambitious pastry chef with a passion for precision, innovation, and maintaining the exceptional standards befitting of a three Michelin Start restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
Guide day-to-day production within the pastry section, ensuring all preparations meet our rigorous quality standards.
Collaborate closely with the Head Pastry Chef on menu development and creative projects
Maintain impeccable quality control at every stage of preparation and plating.
Uphold organisation, cleanliness, and efficiency across the pastry kitchen.
Support training and mentoring of junior pastry team members.
Ensure all food safety and hygiene practices are adhered to at the highest level.
Role Details:
Primarily a day-time only schedule
