As a Pastry Commis Chef, you will support the pastry team in creating beautifully presented desserts and baked items that reflect the quality and creativity of Nobu. Working closely with the Pastry Head Chef and wider kitchen brigade, you will assist with preparation, production and presentation while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, consistency and attention to detail. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their pastry skills within a luxury hotel environment. You will Assist with the preparation, baking and presentation of pastry dishes Ensure your station is organised, stocked and ready for service Follow Nobu recipes and standards to deliver consistency and quality Maintain strong food hygiene, cleanliness and health and safety standards Support allergen management and avoid cross contamination at all times Ensure pastry equipment is clean, maintained and reported if damaged Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team during service Support and welcome new team members into the pastry team Demonstrate a proactive and positive approach to work Be available to support other kitchen areas when required Embody Nobu values of Family, Crafted, Smile and Kokoro in every interaction What Were Looking For You have a genuine passion for pastry and are eager to develop your skills within a luxury kitchen environment.
