Pastry Chef de Partie Contract Catering Central London Salary: £36,000 per annum 40 hours / week - 5 days in 7 to include evenings & weekends

The Role and What youll be doing: As Pastry Chef, youll take the lead on all things pastry from daily production to bespoke event desserts. Youll work closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chefs, and wider hospitality team to deliver consistently high standards and creative offerings across the site. Producing a wide range of pastries, breads, desserts, and baked goods Decorating and finishing desserts using a variety of icings, toppings, and techniques Designing and delivering bespoke desserts for fine dining and special events Developing new and exciting desserts for restaurants, coffee bars, and events Managing the pastry section day-to-day and supporting a positive team environment Working closely with the Head and Sous Chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene, and allergen standards always. What were looking for Youll be a confident, organised Pastry Chef who enjoys running a section and thrives in a fast-paced but professional environment. Experience in contract catering or a 5-star hotel environment (preferred) Strong knowledge of baking, bread, and pastry techniques Creativity, attention to detail, and pride in presentation Confidence working with dietary requirements (gluten-free, reduced sugar, etc.) Excellent organisational and planning skills A good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and allergen awareness Flexibility around working hours when required for events BOH1 TPBN1_UKCT
