Passive Fire Site Supervisor (Permanent)

Location: UK-wide projects
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 + travel & accommodation

Fawkes & Reece are delighted to be working with a well-established national main contractor to recruit a Permanent Passive Fire Site Supervisor. Our client delivers high-profile RC Frame construction projects, including hotels, student accommodation, offices and luxury residential developments.

The Role

You will join the Aftercare Team, taking responsibility for planning, coordinating and supervising snagging and maintenance works, with a strong focus on Passive Fire Protection. You will oversee site operatives and subcontractors, ensuring all works are completed safely, on programme and within budget, while meeting the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise site teams and report directly to the Site Manager / Project Manager

*

Plan and coordinate snagging and remedial works with a strong focus on passive fire elements

*

Ensure works are delivered in line with the construction programme

*

Maintain full Health & Safety compliance across site

*

Ensure quality of workmanship meets client and regulatory requirements

*

Identify and resolve maintenance and fire protection issues

Passive Fire Scope

The role will involve oversight and coordination of passive fire protection works including:

*

Fire-resistant compartments and structural fire protection

*

Fire stopping systems and materials

*

Fire doors and fire-rated walls

*

Fire-resistant coatings

*

Ensuring passive fire systems work in conjunction with sprinkler and alarm systems to maintain overall building fire integrity

Essential Requirements

*

Proven experience working on high-rise, RC Frame main contractor projects

*

Strong background in Passive Fire Protection on student accommodation, residential, hotel or multi-storey schemes

*

Third-party Passive Fire accreditation (e.g. FIRAS, BM TRADA, or equivalent)

*

SSSTS or SMSTS (essential)

*

Willingness to travel to sites across the UK
