Our Client, a World recognised and respected Automotive OEM Manufacturer based in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire, are actively seeking an experienced and professional Parts Advisor on an ongoing 12-month contract basis. On offer to the successful candidate is a competitive, albeit negotiable hourly rate, based on relevant experience.

The Parts Department plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless aftersales service and customer satisfaction at this prestigious Dealership. It acts as the backbone of the Dealership’s operations, supporting the Service Department, Retail Sales, and Customer Care teams with high-quality, genuine vehicle parts and accessories. You will work as part of a small, dynamic, and fast?paced team comprising three Parts Advisors, and three Parts Coordinators.

Your duties and responsibilities will be:
To offer expert parts advice to retail and trade customers and technicians.
Maintaining and optimising stock levels, placing and managing orders, and monitoring lead times. Processing returns, cancellations, and credits, while ensuring prompt and professional responses to all customer, supplier, and internal enquiries.
Ordering, receiving, and issuing parts.
Ensuring efficient and exemplary customer service.
Continuously improve processes.
Trade customer account management.You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Should ideally be educated to a minimum GCSE level, better still have a Vehicle Apprenticeship background or equivalent qualification, although plenty of relevant experience will be considered.
Should be a skilled and professional Parts Advisor, with previous Automotive / Motor Trade / Dealership industry experience.
You will have relevant skills in Microsoft Excel and will be organised, with the ability to manage parts inventory, and at all times able to provide exceptional customer service.
You will be a team player and have the ability to work under pressure at times, whilst retaining a professional manner.
Strong phone and email etiquette is needed.It would be great if you also have the following;
Preferably with knowledge of the CDK/Keyloop DMS system used to control stock, but training can be given on this.This position is available with immediate effect.
