Year 2/3 Teacher- Part time

Location: Oxford

Start Date: Spring Term 2026

A community focused mainstream primary School in Oxford is seeking a part time teacher to join their mixed year 2/3 classroom during the Spring Term 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a committed teacher who is passionate about delivering high quality education to a rewarding classroom, but with the perks of a more flexible working schedule. Within this role, you will be supporting pupils in a mixed year group classroom for 2 days per week.

The school is recognised for its inclusive attitude and dedication to supporting disadvantaged pupils. They are looking for a professional and reflective practitioner who demonstrates a commitment to supporting their pupils regardless of ability and achievement.

As the part time teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and well- structured lessons which align with the National Curriculum
  • Display excellent behaviour management skills
  • Manage the classroom in a positive and structured manner
  • Be provided with all planning and classroom preparation (completed in advance)
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the school and become part of an uplifting team environment
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school

Applicants should have experience teaching within a primary setting, with teaching a mixed year group being desirable but not essential.
