About the role We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic NightPorterto join ourConciergeteam.You will be the first to meet our customers, so the first impression of our hotel depends on your friendliness and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a smart and trustworthy individual able to provide customers with a warm greeting and handle all incoming requests. In addition, you will be responsible to protect the hotel and its residents by monitoring who comes in and out of our premises. Responsibilities Greeting guests on arrival in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner providing a great first impression according to the hotel standards and making them instantly feel at ease always maintaining a positive attitude Ensure that all tasks relating to guest comfort, guest satisfaction or impression of the hotel which a guest receives must be treated with an utmost priority Dealing with early departures or late arrivals, storing luggage for guests and providing them with the appropriate documentation Acquire extensive knowledge of the premises and the nearby venues and businesses to make the most suitable recommendations and bookings for guests Valet Parking cars for arriving and departing guests Candidate requirements Essential : Manual handling of up to 20kg alone Previous customer facing experience Smart, professional appearance Excellent customer service skills including telephone manner Good level of spoken and written English Full valid clean UK Driving License Under the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, evidence of eligibility to work and live in the UK will be required should you be invited to attend an interview.
