Part time Band 6 MSK Outpatient Physiotherapist
We are looking for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist with a clinical interest and experience in musculoskeletal conditions to join the Outpatient MSK service in Lutterworth at Feilding Palmer Hospital.
We have a well-established in-service training programme and regular supervision within teams and with clinical specialists to develop our workforce.
We receive referrals from multiple sources such as GP's, consultants and self-referrals and we offer a variety of telephone/virtual consultation and face to face appointments.
You will need to be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of current issues and evidence of CPD in the management of MSK conditions.
You must have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and the ability to problem solve.
You will need to be able to prioritise and manage your own caseload as well as being able to motivate yourself and others.
You will be proficient in using electronic patient records and managing patients both face to face and remotely.
Previous experience of working in the NHS is desirable but not essential.
It is essential that you are a car owner / driver or have access to suitable alternative transport.

Main duties of the job
- To work as a specialist clinician to utilise, develop and enhance Physiotherapy clinical and professional skills within the Service to deliver high standards of practice.
- To provide specialist Physiotherapy assessment and treatment to patients within a multi-disciplinary format in clinical care pathways.
- To take a lead in developing the Service. This involves promoting high quality clinical practice and ensuring professional standards are maintained in the workplace.
- To deliver a specialist Physiotherapy Service to patients within a variety of settings, requiring flexibility/adaptability in recognising the complexity of these environments to maximise their abilities and opportunities for occupational wellbeing.
The Trust is progressing toward a 7 day per week working pattern. Currently our service operates from Monday to Friday with no changes presently envisaged, however, should this position alter the post holder must be prepared to work the weekly contracted hours over a 7-day rotation in accordance with the needs of the service.
