Our client, a passionate and design-led architectural practice, is seeking a talented Part II Architectural Assistant to join its friendly and collaborative team. The studio has a strong focus on delivering sustainable, contemporary, and traditional residential projects, offering the opportunity to work across a variety of high-quality schemes.
This role will see you contributing across multiple projects and RIBA work stages, with a particular focus on design development and technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities for this Part II role:
-Develop design proposals and prepare planning application packages -Produce detailed technical drawings for Building Regulations and construction -Assist in the preparation of tender packages -Support project delivery across RIBA Stages 2–4 -Coordinate with internal team members and external consultants -Contribute to design development and technical problem-solving -Assist with the development and management of Revit models
Skills & Experience needed for this Part II role:
-Minimum of 2 years’ UK experience in practice -Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, with working knowledge of Revit -Experience producing detailed technical drawing packages -Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction methods -Experience working on residential projects (new build and/or heritage) -Strong communication and organisational skills -Proactive and collaborative approach with strong attention to detail -Interest in sustainable and low-energy design
