Location:
Trowbridge, Wiltshire (Hybrid part office-based, part home working)

Salary:
£45,000 £55,000 (depending on experience) plus discretionary quarterly bonuses

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing high-quality, compliant financial planning reports and recommendations
• Conducting detailed research and analysis across pensions, investments, and protection
• Supporting Financial Planners in developing tailored client strategies
• Ensuring all work meets regulatory and compliance standards
• Liaising with providers and internal teams to gather and verify client data
• Assisting with complex casework and technical queries
• Contributing to process improvements and technical projects where required

What Were Looking For:

• Diploma qualified (Level 4 in Financial Planning or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years experience in a Paraplanning role
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and financial planning
• Excellent report writing and analytical skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to compliance
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and team-oriented mindset

Desirable Skills:

• Progression towards Chartered status
• Experience working within a high-quality, client-focused advice firm
• Ability to manage complex cases independently
• Enthusiastic, empathetic, and motivated approach to work
