A specialist law firm is looking to hire a Russian‑speaking Paralegal to join its disputes practice in London on a 12‑month contract, with strong prospects of extension.

This is a rare opportunity to work on complex, high‑profile matters spanning business crime, civil fraud, and commercial litigation, supporting senior lawyers on demanding and intellectually stimulating cases.

The role

• Provide legal and administrative support to fee‑earners across business crime and civil fraud matters
• Translate and interpret between Russian and English in meetings, calls, and written materials
• Draft legal research memoranda on a wide range of contentious issues
• Take detailed notes of meetings and conferences with clients, counsel, and third parties
• Assist with complex document management and case preparation
• Support litigation and investigations involving cross‑border and sensitive issues

About you

• Fluent Russian with an excellent standard of written and spoken English
• Degree‑educated, with a strong academic background (2:1 or above)
• Ideally at least one year’s experience as a paralegal in commercial litigation or business crime
• Confident handling detailed, document‑heavy matters under tight deadlines
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a close‑knit team
• Experience with legal research tools such as LexisNexis, Westlaw, or Practical Law is advantageous
• Sanctions experience is a plus
