We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly skilled Panel Technician to join their reputable team in Darlington.

The successful Panel Technician will play a key position in delivering high-quality accident repair services in a fast-paced environment. Duties:

Repair and refit damaged vehicle panels to manufacturer standards
Reassemble and replace body components ensuring precision and quality
Accurately interpret repair estimates and technical data
Use specialist body repair equipment within a modern, well-equipped workshop
Work collaboratively with MET and Paint technicians to achieve high standards
Conduct vehicle repairs efficiently, adhering to health and safety guidelines
Ensure a high level of attention to detail and quality control throughout each repair

Requirements:

Extensive experience working as a Panel Technician or similar position
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair or equivalent qualification preferred
ATA accreditation desirable but not essential
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of vehicle repair health and safety regulations
Flexible approach to working hours and responsibilities
