Your new company A Facilities Management company is looking to add a painter to join their maintenance team at HMP Swinfen Hall to meet growing demand for work completion and delivery.Your new role You will be responsible for the supervision of prisoners whilst they paint the prison. You will also be required to help out the prisoners and join them in painting the prison, in areas such as staff rooms, kitchens, visitors' receptions and interior and exterior walls. All tools, paint and equipment will be supplied by site.What you'll need to succeedYou must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications and experience:* Must hold a City & Guilds, National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 3 in Painting and decorating or an equivalent qualification* Substantiated experience in a similar role can be considered as an alternative to formal qualificationsWhat you'll get in returnYou will be paid weekly, at a rate of £19.00. You will receive all relevant training as well as health and safety inductions. You will be working part-time hours 3 days a week. The regular working hours are 08:00-17:00 with breaks unpaid. These hours may differ slightly to meet site requirements.Documentation RequiredSecurity Clearance by the prison (Hays will organise this for you). You must hold a valid passport or Birth Certificate & Photo Driving Licence at your current address.All applicants must be able to provide details of at least 3 years' satisfactory references.
