Painter & Decorator

We are looking for a painter & decorator on an initial 6-month contract based in derby for a rate of £22 per hour via umbrella for minimum of 40 hours a week with the opportunity of overtime as well.

 Prepare surfaces (cleaning, sanding, filling cracks) to ensure safe, hygienic finishes suitable for a strict setting

 Apply paints, varnishes, and specialist coatings (e.g., antimicrobial or easy-clean finishes)

 Follow strict infection control and health & safety procedures while working around a secure site

 Maintain and repair existing painted surfaces, including touch-ups in high-traffic areas

 Safely handle and store materials, tools, and equipment in compliance with site regulations
