Job Advert: Painter & Decorator Static Commercial Site (Portsmouth) ??Position: Painter & DecoratorLocation: Portsmouth (Static Site)Salary: £34,000 per yearHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 4:00pmContract: Full-time, PermanentAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter & Decorator to join our facilities team at a static commercial site in Portsmouth. This MondayFriday role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality finishes and enjoys maintaining a clean, professional working environment.Youll be responsible for internal and external decorating, surface preparation, minor repairs, and ensuring the building remains presentable and well-maintained year-round.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out all interior and exterior painting and decorating to a high professional standard.Prepare surfaces including filling, sanding, patch plastering and priming.Complete wall repairs, fix minor damage, and ensure smooth, clean finishes.Apply paints, varnishes, stains and protective coatings as required.Undertake minor handyman duties such as:Basic carpentry (repairing skirting boards, doors, frames)Minor sealant/caulking workTouch-ups and routine maintenanceMaintain clean working areas and follow site safety procedures.Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with site staff.Record work completed and manage priorities efficiently (training on any digital systems provided).What Were Looking ForProven experience as a Painter & Decorator (residential, commercial or facilities).Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality finishes.Ability to work independently on a static site.Skilled in preparation work, patch repairs, painting and finishing.Good communication and a positive attitude.Awareness of health & safety in working environments.Benefits£34,000 per yearMondayFriday 8am4pm no weekendsSecure, stable position on a single commercial siteSupportive environment with potential for developmentLong-term, reliable working hoursHow to ApplyTo apply, please submit your CV outlining your experience as a Painter & Decorator.JBRP1_UKTJ
