Painter and Decorator

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Painter/Decorator to complete refresh and touch-up works across a live site (offices, welfare areas, corridors, warehouse spaces). Location: Livingston EH54 5DL You'll be confident working independently, managing your own daily plan, and delivering a tidy, high-quality finish while following site safety rules. Hours & Pay: £13.00 per hour Mon-Fri 08:00-16:00 (flexible start/finish possible) Overtime/weekend work may be available by agreement. Your role as a Painter & Decorator: Prepare surfaces (cleaning, scraping, sanding, filling, caulking, masking). Apply primers/undercoats and finish coats using brush/roller (spray if competent). Carry out small patch repairs to walls/ceilings where required. Protect surrounding areas and fixtures; maintain a tidy work area. Handle paint/materials safely and manage basic stock levels. Dispose of waste correctly and hand back areas clean. Work safely in a live environment, following site rules, RAMS, and permits. Provide daily progress updates to the site contact/manager.
