Paint & Prep TechnicianCitygate Prep Centre, Slough37.5 hour week - 3 Days per Week 12.5 hour shifts, rotating£40,000 basic plus uncapped bonusPermanentPaint & Prep TechnicianRole overviewWe are looking for a Paint and Prep Technician to carry out all Bodyshop work in an efficient and safe manner, to meet the business requirements and maximise workshop utilisation and productivityPaint & Prep TechnicianKey responsibilitiesYour key responsibilities as a Paint and Prep Technician will be:To accurately undertake the preparation and repainting of motor vehiclesFulfil all tasks to the customers complete satisfactionDetect and diagnose any additional faults for further repairEnsure all work is completed safely and complies with the retailer, manufacturer and industry guidelinesCarry out all repairs according to best practice proceduresUse all paint mixing schemes and drying areas/equipment accurately for all paint repairsCoach and support apprentice techniciansAttend specialised training as requiredinternal and manufacturer requirementsParticipate in ongoing training and development to ensure product and service knowledge is up to dateContribute to local and companywide process improvements and innovationsMentor and provide guidance to apprentice technicians, where applicableWhats in it for you as aPaint & Prep Technician?With our benefits there is something good for everyone.
