Packaging Innovation Technologist – Food/FMCG

Flintshire (Hybrid) - £50,000 - £55,000

The role


You’ll be driving packaging optimisation and innovation across a wide range of chilled and frozen products.


Right now, the focus is clear: reduce packaging, improve efficiency, and cut costs across the supply chain — from factory to shelf.


You’ll be:


  • Leading packaging reduction and cost-saving projects
  • Improving efficiency across formats, packing and logistics
  • Working closely with suppliers and internal teams
  • Managing your own projects end-to-end
  • Supporting a constant flow of product launches and changes


What they’re looking for


  • Packaging experience within FMCG
  • Comfortable working across different materials and formats
  • Someone who can manage projects without being micromanaged
  • Organised, resilient, and able to deal with a fast-paced environment


If you need structure and a big team around you, this won’t suit.

If you like autonomy and getting things done, it will.
