This role involves providing one-to-one tutoring sessions to students in the community or within their homes, offering tailored educational support across a range of subjects, including Maths, English, and Science. \n \nKey Responsibilities \n \nDeliver one-to-one tutoring in core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science, tailored to meet the individual needs and learning styles of each student. \n \nAdapt teaching methods and resources to ensure accessibility and engagement for students with different learning abilities. \n \nFoster a supportive, motivating learning environment to build student confidence and enhance their academic performance.

\n \nMonitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to parents, carers, or other professionals involved in the students learning. \n \nDevelop and implement personalised learning plans that help students achieve their academic goals and prepare for exams. \n \nMaintain clear communication with parents and students to ensure ongoing progress and adjustment of tutoring strategies when needed.

\n \nEssential Requirements \n \nHold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). \n \nAt least 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring in a one-to-one or small group setting. \n \nRight to work in the UK.

\n \nEnhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one). \n \nAbility to manage a flexible tutoring schedule and work independently. \n \nDesirable Qualifications \n \nExperience teaching or tutoring at GCSE or Key Stage 3 level.

\n \nExperience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH. \n \nStrong communication skills with the ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students and their families. \n \nAdditional Information \n \nSessions will generally take place during school hours, but some after-school or evening sessions may be required, depending on student availability.
