What you'll be doing:
The development processes (e.g. requirements, design, specification, implementation, acceptance testing), and development tools
The design and implementation/modelling of database tables
Implementation of database packages using the Structured Query Language (SQL)
Performance monitoring and enhancement of an Oracle database, monitoring the Oracle website for updates and engaging with Oracle to request patches as well as Horizon scanning for vulnerabilities
Configuring Windows/Linux/RHEL operating systems
Creating bespoke applications and automated deployment using PowerShell
Your skills and experiences:
Systems development lifecycle experience, from design through to testing
Demonstrable experience in Database Management
A background in IT
Interpersonal and communication skills. Confidence to liaise with customer and user representatives to discuss systems technical issues
Experience with Powershell
Oracle 19 experience (or similar)
Windows experience(essential), Linux(desirable)
Some experience with COTS applications(desirable)
