Job Description
Job Title: Program Manager – Community Delivery Program (Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: London, UK (On-site)
Contract Duration: 9 months
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Description:
We are seeking a Program Manager to support the expansion and operational excellence of a Community Delivery Program that enables delivery partners to support local communities by delivering essential items from food banks and non-profit organisations. This fixed-term role will focus on scaling charitable partnerships, ensuring operational readiness, and driving continuous improvement across community delivery operations, while providing regular updates to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Source, identify, and assess new charity partners aligned with programme objectives
• Build and maintain a pipeline of potential charitable organisations through proactive outreach
• Manage end-to-end onboarding for new partners, including training and operational guidance
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and launches
• Provide on-the-ground operational support and resolve delivery performance issues
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance partner and delivery partner experience
• Define, track, and report programme performance metrics
• Analyse data to identify trends, outliers, and improvement opportunities
• Support new site launches, operational readiness reviews, and urgent operational needs
Typical Activities:
• Partner evaluations and operational readiness reviews
• Weekly analysis of operational metrics and feedback
• Site visits to monitor operations and gather insights
• Collaboration with multiple stakeholders to implement process improvements
Candidate Requirements:
• At least 2 years’ experience in project or program management, working cross-functionally
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs); SQL knowledge
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
• Experience defining programme requirements and implementing repeatable processes
• Strong stakeholder management skills across multiple levels
