We’re partnering with an innovative and growing organisation within the medical technology/manufacturing sector to appoint a General Manager. This is a pivotal leadership role with full operational responsibility across multiple sites.

The Opportunity

As Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring operational excellence across two production sites. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, drive performance, and implement strategic initiatives to support sustainable growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee manufacturing operations across two locations
  • Drive operational strategy and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead production planning to meet customer demand and delivery targets
  • Manage stock control, supply chain, and inventory processes
  • Ensure compliance with medical/quality standards (QMS)
  • Take ownership of budgeting and financial decision-making
  • Lead and develop teams across operations and customer service
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies
  • Ensure Health & Safety compliance across the organisation
  • Support audits and maintain accreditations


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Strong background in operations, production, and supply chain management
  • Experience managing multi-site operations
  • Demonstrated success in process optimisation and continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and regulatory compliance
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets
  • Strong people leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. inventory systems, accounting platforms)
  • Engineering background preferred

Experience in medical devices or regulated industries is highly advantageous.
