JOB TITLE - OPERATIONS MANAGER

Location: Birmingham Type: Permanent

Salary: £50,000 - £56,000 + Bonus

Job Summary:

We are currently representing an exciting new opportunity on behalf of our industry leading client based at their site in the West Midlands region.

* We’re now looking for a hands‑on Operations Manager to drive operational excellence, meet volume, quality and cost targets and consistently exceed customer expectations for safety, service and efficiency

Main Duties:

* Provide strong leadership for daily operations and future improvements.

* Ensure full compliance with legal, regulations and policies.

* Support achievement of sales, operating profit, volume and margin targets.

* Monitor operations to meet customer and site-specific KPIs.

* Manage inventory levels.

* Drive continuous improvement in Health, Safety and Environmental performance.

Person Specification.

* Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and compliance,

* Knowledge of 5S or 6S is beneficial.

* Familiarity with internal management systems and site installations.

* Well rounded Operational experience and ability to lead and develop teams.

* Strong computer proficiency and ideally systems experience
