We are looking for a highly organised and performance-driven Operations Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of multi-department hospitality operations.
This role oversees Housekeeping, Kitchen, Front Office, and Events and Food and Beverage delivery, ensuring all departments operate efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with business objectives. You will be accountable for service standards, team performance, cost control, and operational excellence across all areas.
Role Overview You will lead and coordinate all operational departments, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams and consistent delivery across guest services, accommodation standards, and event execution. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving performance, improving processes, and maintaining high operational standards across the board.
Key Responsibilities Take full ownership of daily operations across Housekeeping, Kitchen, Front Office, Food & Beverage including events.
Ensure all departments deliver consistently high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation
Coordinate cross-functional operations to ensure smooth guest journeys and event delivery
Lead, manage, and develop departmental managers and team leaders
Plan and control labour across departments, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business demand
Monitor and manage operational costs, including labour, stock, and departmental spend
Implement and enforce SOPs to drive consistency and operational control
Oversee compliance across all areas, including health & safety, food safety, and licensing
Track and analyse KPIs (guest satisfaction, service delivery, turnaround times, cost ratios)
Identify inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Handle escalations and ensure swift resolution of operational issues
Build strong internal communication channels to ensure alignment across departments
About You Proven experience in a multi-department Operations Manager role within hospitality or a similar environment
Strong understanding of Housekeeping, Front Office, Kitchen an Food & Beverage operations
Experienced in managing managers and leading cross-functional teams
Commercially aware, with a track record of managing budgets and driving operational efficiency
Hands-on leader who is comfortable being present across all areas of the business
Strong organisational and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments
Confident communicator with the ability to influence and align teams
Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends
