Operations Manager

Bristol location

£90,000 - £110,000 plus 15% bonus and benefits

An Operations Manager is wanted on a permanent basis by a global client of ours who are at the forefront of their industry. The successful candidate will lead and optimise the Production and Manufacturing Engineering functions to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of systems, upgrade kits, and spares. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, meeting customer delivery commitments, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business objectives.

This is a permanent opportunity that includes a base salary of circa £90,000 - £110,000 plus 15% bonus and benefits.

Overview of the Operations Manager role:

Lead lean manufacturing and operational excellence programs to drive efficiency, scalability, and sustainability. Champion digitalisation and automation initiatives to future-proof operations and enhance competitiveness. Establish and sustain standardised processes and governance frameworks across all manufacturing activities.

Key skills and qualifications required for the Operations Manager role:

Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or operations environment. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Comfortable in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment whilst having a proven ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams.
