Role OverviewThe Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operational performance of the business, ensuring the successful delivery of commercial flooring projects across multiple sites. This role provides strategic and hands-on leadership across project management, site operations, health & safety, quality, resourcing, and profitability.

The successful candidate will work closely with directors, commercial teams, project managers, and site supervisors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership Oversee day-to-day operations across all commercial flooring projects

Lead and manage Project Managers, Site Managers, and Supervisors

Ensure consistent delivery standards across all sites

Implement and improve operational processes, systems, and controls

Project & Programme Management Oversee project planning, programming, and resource allocation

Monitor project progress, productivity, and performance

Identify and resolve operational risks, delays, and constraints

Support project teams with technical and logistical challenges

Commercial & Financial Management Manage operational budgets, costs, and profit margins
