This is a great opportunity to join one of the most highly reputable Caterers in the UK within their Education division in the Midlands. The geography of the role is quite large so you could live anywhere from Birmingham, to Stoke to Leicester to Coventry! Your patch would cover over 100 Education clients and even though one key client is in East Anglia you have a very strong senior Operations Managers looking after this client for you over several sites.
We are looking for someone who is hugely client focused, has a good sense of humor, and who wishes to get under the skin of the Education clients as this is such a stable and secure market right now and is going from strength to strength. We need someone who has a keen eye for detail and is great with the numbers, the turnover of your patch exceeds £50 million will be joining a well-structured team below you, made up of 10 strong operations managers and they have support managers and relief managers below them who live and breathe the business so perhaps you are fed up with running from pillar to post to manage so many clients with not enough support this would be a welcome change and a dream role for the someone who is adept at building strong client relationships, whilst leading a strong and highly well regarding team, to allow you to do what you are best at looking after your key clients. This is an exciting time to be joining the company as a lot of positive change is happening and you would be working for someone who is hugely supportive but the opposite of a micro manager he would let you get on with your job and have a weekly Teams or face to face with you. Does not matter where you are based in the Midlands but on occasion you would need to be comfortable and happy to travel into central London to the Head office for key meetings but his would be monthly rather than weekly
This role would allow you a decent work life balance as your role would be Monday to Friday only. We would need someone who has the client contract relationship piece please but you don't need to know Education just need to be keen on entering the Education market with an open mind.
