Responsible for leading the delivery of cost consultancy/management services to deliver key strategic outcomes and sub-function key performance indicators (KPIs), directly influencing strategic development. Provides leadership and direction through subordinate Managers.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Managing strategic delivery, pipeline development, client relationships, bidding and business growth.
• Ensuring ethical, financially robust operations aligned to net‑zero and statutory obligations.
• Managing, mentoring and growing high‑performing teams, driving innovation, talent and continuous improvement.
• Managing contract administration, valuations, cost control, reporting, and certification through project completion.
• Providing commercial leadership on change, claims, delays and financial performance.
• Driving business growth, project income and measurable performance improvement.
• Managing and developing high‑performing teams, embedding best practice, innovation and net‑zero outcomes.

You’ll need to have:

• Comprehensive understanding and experience of present-day issues such as Sustainability, Social Value and Carbon Reduction.
• Expert knowledge of industry best practice.
• Degree in quantity surveying/cost management (or equivalent).
• Professional membership i.e. MRICS/RICS (or equivalent) and moving towards fellowship.
