Company Overview
You will be joining a very prestigious, highly regarded and well-established leading Insurance Broker as their Operations Administrator on a 12 month fixed term contract (FTC). Part of a sizable team of 6 (consisting of Operations, Technical Support and Reception), you will report directly into the Operations Manager. Based in their brand new and incredibly modern City of London office 5 days a week, you will have ad-hoc flexibility to work from home.
Role Responsibilities
In your new role, you will be responsible for assisting in the arrangement of travel and visas in accordance with company policy (including booking flights/hotels for colleagues, completing travel authorisation forms and sending invitation letters), helping colleagues prepare/submit expense claims for approval, maintain Divisional absence/attendance records on a weekly basis, authorising holiday requests, archiving files, supporting with event planning/hosting, minute taking, typing and document preparation. You will be required to provide cover for the Reception team in the event of any sickness, holiday or other absence. You will respond to calls, greet visitors and help with arranging meetings, booking restaurants and confirm accommodation.
Role Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have at least 6 months - 1 year of previous experience working in an Admin/Secretarial/PA/Team Assistant role, ideally in an international organisation. You will preferably have Front of House and Switchboard experience. Strong admin and communication (written & oral) skills are essential. You will be a confident, professional and articulate individual who always delivers excellent customer service. You will be a proactive, enthusiastic, driven, committed and dedicated individual with an outstanding work ethic and a demonstrable passion for your chosen career path.
In Return
You will receive an annual salary of £25,000 + Benefits and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate. You will be joining a very well-known and reputable business and although this role will initially be a fixed term contract, there could be scope for contract extension or even a permanent role. You will be part of a really close-knit, welcoming, supportive and high-performing team who will be there to assist with your transition into the business from day one. You will be based in their brand new offices on a full-time basis, with some ad-hoc and occasional flexibility to work from home. Their office is located in a fantastic area of the City, close to multiple transport links and top attractions.
