JobPurposeFleetOperationsDriver Toundertakearangeof passengertransportfunctionswithinFleetOperations,ensuringeffectiveprovisioninlinewithservicerequirementsandcustomerneeds. KeyResponsibilitiesFleetOperationsDriver PersonallyandthroughteammembersassisttodelivertheserviceplansandobjectivesfortheFleetoperationsteam. Toundertakethesafetransportationofallpassengers. Tohaveregardforthegeneralwelfareofpassengersandtopromotetheirsafety. Toensurecompliancewithsafepracticeinrespectofallpassengerparticularlywheelchairusers. Tomaintainandoperate vehicles inaccordance with policies,proceduresandissuedGuidance. Tocompletealldocumentationrelatedtovehicleoperationsasrequired. TowearprotectiveclothingandPPEasissued. Toprovidesupportservicesasdirectedbythe DayServicesmanagement whenworkingwithintheDayCentre. Tooperateanyfleet vehiclesasrequiredparticularlyinemergency/urgentsituations. Tooperatethenominatedcommunicationsystemasrequired. Collect fares,passes, issuetickets andaccountformoniestakeninlinewithNCCpolicy. Toensurethecleanlinessofallvehiclesismaintained toahighstandard. Tomeetalllegislativerequirementsregardingdrivers, hoursregulations,includingtheuseoftachographswhereappropriate.
