We are currently seeking a compassionate and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in the Wolverhampton area. In this role, you will provide dedicated, individual support to a pupil with additional needs, helping them engage with learning, build confidence, and make meaningful progress. Key Responsibilities

Deliver focused 1:1 support to a pupil with special educational needs, adapting approaches to suit their individual learning style. Encourage engagement in lessons and support understanding of classroom activities. Promote the pupil’s emotional wellbeing and support the development of positive social skills. Contribute to personalised learning plans and targeted interventions. Use consistent, positive behaviour strategies to encourage independence. Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and other professionals to meet the pupil’s needs.What We’re Looking For

A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships. A patient, flexible, and proactive approach. Relevant qualifications (such as Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential. Previous experience working with children or in a similar role is advantageous, although enthusiasm and willingness to learn are equally valued.What We Offer
