Astute's Renewables Team is partnering with a well-established renewable energy provider that is committed to sustainability, quality service delivery, and professional development, to recruit an O&M Electrician for its UK-wide operations team.\n\nThis strategically important O&M Electrician role comes with a salary of £35,000-£45,000 company van, pension, and benefits.\n\nIf you're an O&M Electrician with experince in Commercial Solar PV and looking to work for an organisation that puts integrity and people at the forefront of everything it does, then submit your CV to apply today.\n\nResponsibilities and duties of the O&M Electrician role \n\nReporting to the Operations Manager you will:\n\nCarry out inspections, fault diagnosis, and maintenance on single-phase and three-phase commercial rooftop solar PV systems.\nUndertake system installations, component replacements, and performance upgrades.\nCommunicate effectively with clients on-site, provide progress updates, report defects, and ensure customer satisfaction.\nComplete accurate work logs, inspection records, and remedial action reports.\nOperate across sites nationwide (primarily between Manchester and the outskirts of London) with occasional overnight stays as required. \n\nProfessional qualifications \n\nWe are looking for someone with the following:\n\nRelevant electrical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent)\n18th Edition Wiring Regulations\nDesirable: AM2/ 2391/2394/2395\nProven experience in commercial sector solar PV maintenance and electrical work.\nA strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures, including Permit to Work and safe systems of work.\nFull UK driving licence. \n\nPersonal skills \n\nThe O&M Electrician role would suit someone who is:\n\nFlexible and willing to travel nationwide for site work.\nConfident working at heights and in confined spaces.\nSkilled in fault finding and problem-solving.\nProfessional and customer-focused in all interactions.
