Job Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an organised individual looking to progress their career in a boutique accountancy firm based in Central London. We are seeking a office manager / practice secretary to work alongside Directors.
Common tasks include: word processing; letter writing; dealing with telephone and email enquiries; creating and maintaining filing systems; meeting and greeting clients; scheduling and attending meetings, creating agendas and taking minutes ; keeping diaries and arranging appointments;
Main responsibilities:
- Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management and filing
- Responsible for monthly invoicing
- Organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments
- Carrying out background research and presenting findings
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff across the Group
- Provide general administrative and clerical support as and when needed
- Secretarial duties as and when required
- Assisting with projects such as events, mailings, research, marketing if required.
Other tasks for which training will be provided:
-Perform general company secretarial tasks such as filing confirmation statement, prepare stock transfer form and company formation.
-Perform Anti-money laundering checks and document them as per firm’s policy
-Assisting partner/director/manager with administrative tasks, eg, billing reviews, client engagement procedures, timesheets and expenses.
Skills required:
-A proactive, can do attitude is a must as the role can encompass a broad range of responsibilities.
-Multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
-Solid written and verbal communication skills. Additional qualification in office management is a plus.
-Pleasant and outgoing personality, as you must deal directly with a variety of different clients

- At least 2 years experience in the current position
