Key Responsibilities

Import Operations: Manage the full ocean import lifecycle, from initial booking through to final arrival and delivery.

Carrier Liaison: Coordinate directly with shipping lines and local hauliers to ensure smooth transit and timely container collections.

Customs Handling: Prepare and manage import documentation and clearances with a sharp eye for UK regulatory compliance.

*

Customer Care: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive, real-time updates and expert problem-solving.

Financial Tracking: Oversee job costing and invoicing to ensure every file is as profitable as it is efficient.

Requirements

Experience: 2+ years of experience within a UK ocean freight forwarding role.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with industry software (e.g., CargoWise, MultiFreight) and a solid grasp of current customs procedures.
