Nurture Healthcare is recruiting for a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to work within a care home setting in Essex.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about improving quality of life, promoting independence, and supporting individuals with a range of physical and cognitive needs.

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with residents to assess their needs and deliver personalised interventions that support mobility, independence, and overall wellbeing. The successful Occupational Therapist will play a key role in enhancing daily living skills and adapting environments to meet individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out assessments as an Occupational Therapist within a care home environment

* Develop and implement tailored care and therapy plans

* Support residents with mobility, rehabilitation, and daily living activities

* Recommend and implement adaptive equipment and environmental changes

* Work closely with care staff, nurses, and external professionals

* Provide guidance and training to care staff on best practice

* Monitor and review resident progress

What We’re Looking For

* Essential: Qualified Occupational Therapist with relevant registration

* Experience working in a care home, rehabilitation, or community setting

* Strong understanding of physical disabilities, ageing, and/or dementia care

* Compassionate, patient, and person-centred approach

* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
