The role focuses on strengths-based, proportionate interventions to promote independence and improve outcomes for residents. Main Duties for the Occupational Therapist include: Conducting OT-led reviews to assess current care needs and identify changes

Promoting independence through reablement and proportionate equipment provision

Recommending care package reductions where appropriate

Collaborating with social workers and health professionals to deliver holistic support

Ensuring all practice upholds dignity, safeguarding, and person-centred values

To Be Successful: Previous experience as a community-based Occupational Therapist

Confident in functional assessments
