Nurture Teacher - SEND Secondary School Location: Redhill / Chaldon, SurreySalary: £34,398 - £48,913 + £5,000 welcome bonus (for qualified teachers)Contract: Full-time, PermanentHours: 40 hours per week
A specialist SEND secondary school in Surrey is seeking a Nurture Teacher to support pupils aged 11-16 with autism, social communication, emotional regulation and sensory processing needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver differentiated teaching tailored to individual needs
- Plan, assess and monitor student progress
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team
- Manage behaviour positively and consistently
- Contribute to EHCP reviews and personalised learning plans
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience in SEND / ASC settings
- Strong understanding xbpsjku of the national curriculum
- Knowledge of autism and SEMH needs
Desirable
- SEND qualification
- Curriculum development experience
