Salary: £32,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced and confident Room Leader to join our nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate early years professional to lead a team and support high-quality care and learning within a nurturing environment.

As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of practitioners, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and education for children. You will act as a role model, supporting both children and staff while promoting a positive and collaborative team culture.

• Lead and supervise a team of nursery practitioners
• Ensure full compliance with safeguarding and early years regulations
• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Monitor and support childrens learning and development
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
• Build strong relationships with parents, staff, and children
• Support effective assessment, planning, and reflective practice
• Encourage teamwork and positive communication across the setting

• Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years / Childcare
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and EYFS
• Previous experience in a Room Leader or senior practitioner role
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• A proactive, positive, and professional approach
