Level 3 Nursery Practitioner – Full Time Hours: 8:00am–6:00pmWorking Pattern: 4 days per week (one set day off each week) About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our early years team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5, supporting their development in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Observe, assess, and record children’s development, ensuring individual learning needs are met. Build positive and supportive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised learning environment at all times. Work collaboratively as part of the team to support daily routines, including mealtimes, nappies, and personal care. Create an inclusive environment that encourages children’s independence, curiosity, and confidence. Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are adhered to consistently. Contribute to the planning of the environment, activities, and events/excursions. Support the emotional wellbeing of children, offering comfort and guidance as needed. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development. Requirements Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (or equivalent). Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development. Previous experience working in an early-years setting. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A positive, proactive, and caring approach to working with children. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
